Vest

I just finished making a vest from the Thru-Hiker Minima Vest kit. It worked out quite well: it’s very warm and snug, and the material is highly breathable as well as water resistant.

The things that didn’t work were all due to me having taken a few months break from the sewing machine – I bunched up the insulation quite a bit when sewing the back panel and in the process reduced the size of the whole thing, as well as messing up the neckline making the collar quite small.

I originally intended it to be worn over thermals and a fleece, but it is a bit too small to do that comfortably. I’m still pretty happy with it!
